Monday Morning Wake Up

I thought you might appreciate the way Brandon and I were woken up this morning...
Our little Alex is such a morning person, definitely from her father not her mother. :) Most mornings, she comes right into our room to request her morning oatmeal. But today, it went something like this.

Time: 6:48am
Sound: a little voice singing from the monitor into our room
"Happy Birthday to me. Happy Birthday to me. Happy Birthday, it's not my birthday, Happy Birthday to me."

I should have taken this song wake-up as a foreshadow of my morning. We've been celebrating birthdays all morning with all of Alex's stuff animal friends, play cake, decorations and all.

My Kidlets- FULL of personality!

Alex had a fun "Cat in the Hat" Dr. Seuss week at school and made these fun hats. Of course, when she is wearing it around the house now, she has requested that we all refer to her as "Cat in the Hat" and not Alex! :)We keep waiting for this little girl to get some personality! ha!



Here is a picture of Cade with his spikey haircut...this shot really does sum up his personality: stoic and curious, all with a full mouth. Yet adorable all the while!
