More reasonings of a 3-year old

Me: Alex, why did you hang your bathing suit up in your closet?
Alex: Well, I'm not really sure, but probably because it was on a hanger when we bought it at the Target store

Me: Alex, you want to go play playdough?
Alex: Hmmm, I should be, but I'm in the middle of playing grocery store, so in a minute ok, Mom?

Me: Alex, are you so excited for preschool to start. Your first day is tomorrow!
Alex: No, not tomorrow, I'm not a little bit big yet!

Alex (to me with elbows on the table and hands holding chin): So Mom, how are you doing today?

Alex: Hey mom, what is this for? (asking about the window button on the inside of the car on her side by the door)
Me: Oh, that is the window button that rolls the window up and down.
Alex: Oh yeah. That is not funny or silly to push that. Once I did in Nana's car and it is not funny. It is not safe to push that cause you could fall out.

laughing outloud right now. I especially like that the window button is not "funny or safe". What a perfect imitation!
